Lipid histochemistry of buffalo endometrium during oestrous cycle

The present study records the variations in lipid contents of buffalo uterine epithelium during different phases of oestrous cycle. Maximum concentration of fat was in the mid luteal phase when the corpus luteum was fully formed and it started decreasing with the luteal repression, it may be possible that the fat particles were utilized during prostaglandin synthesis
