Small pieces of thyroid tissue from male kids of four different developmental phases were collected immediately after slaughter. Regarding the numerical evaluation parafollicular cells during post-natal development reveals that in lower animals the number of 'C' cells was higher in adults than in neonates, but in higher animals the opposite was true
