Studies on the efficacy of certain granular insecticides against rice stem borer and leaf roller

Carbofuran alone could effectively control the stem borer incidence as compared to maximum protection treatment and reduce the leaf roller incidence over control. Maximum protection treatment gave the highest grain yield followed by carbofuran. The cost benefit ratio was in favour of the carbofuran (1:3.7) as compared to maximum protection treatment (1:2.8)
