Effect of variety, seed size, soil pressing, top dressing method, and holed vinyl mulching (D 1cm 250 hole/m2) on the growth and several quality criteria of Raphanus sativus L. var. "Altari". The external quality criteria such as weights of leaves and roots, and length of roots are different in the 4 varieties, but dry weight, vitamin C and thiocyanate content have no difference. The early growth of large size seed (thousand grain weight=TGW=11.0 g) was better than small size seed (TGW=8.1 g), but there was no difference on yield and several internal quality criteria
