Interaction of row and hill spacing in both set-ups did not show any effect on height, leaf area, specific leaf weight, number of harvestable leaves, yield, quality index and crop value of Balikbayan. Row spacing, however, significantly affected cured yield and crop value in both set-ups. Highest yields (3.14 and 2.52 t/ha) and crop value (P21,869 and P21,361.66) were produced by the closest row spacing (75 cm) with 90 and 100 cm row spacing exhibiting the lowest yield. Yield, grade index and crop value were not affected by hill spacing
