The cropping patterns tested were: (a) tobacco alone; (b) tobacco and mungo; (c) tobacco and peanut; (d) tobacco and mungo followed by corn; (e) tobacco followed by corn and mungo; (f) tobacco followed by corn and peanut. Plant height, leaf area and yield of tobacco were similar in all cropping combinations. Peanut gave higher yield and gross return/ha (1,073.3 kg/ha and P4,830.00) as compared to mungo (358.3 kg/ha and P3,045.00)
