1985
Calayag, M.C.E.
The objective of this research report is to determine the opportunities in the export market for Toledo fish farm, a 19 hectare prawn farm in Orani, Bataan, and develop an entry strategy accordingly. The declining domestic consumption due to lower purchasing power of the buying public and growing demand in the world market open-up the export market. Toledo fish farm, however, produces limited volume but it offers one specie/variety to prospective foreign buyer. The farm is currently enjoying huge profits from selling in the domestic market. The recommended target country market is the United States, it fits in nicely to the objectives and constraints of the owner: (1) prevailing high market potential; (2) huge sale; project potential; relative ease of entry; relative ease of market penetration
