Cabbage can be exposed to ambient air for a maximum of 8.67 days. It can be stored for 19 days when a small shed with body of water beneath it, is used. Cabbage can be stored for 15.33 days using fresh banana leaves with bracts, 12 days using perforated plastic bags, 11.33 days using dry rice straw, and 6 days using sealed plastic bags. Tomato can be kept for 43.67 days using evaporative cooler and 38.33 days using sawdust. Tomato can be stored for 31.67 day using dried sawdust as storage materials, rice hull ash, 18.33 dry sand, 16.67 moist sand, and 8.33 days using plastic bags
