In the Animal Breeding Experimental Station-Lipowa 30 young bulls of the Lowland Black-and-White breed were fattened with rations consisting of maize silage, meadow hay and concentrate mixture Ol with addition in experimental groups of yeast pulp. The silage and hay intake were in all groups similar. The addition of fresh yeast pulp decreased the concentrate intake and the feeding costs
