Analysis of some parameters of individual evaluation of bull calves of the Red-White Lowland breed

Individual parameters of 996 bull calves of the Red-White Lowland breed recorded in documentation had been analysed. It was found statistically significant influence of the birth season on the body weight at the 12 months age and on weight increases of the bull calves. It was shown the influence of the bull-father on the body weight of calves up to their 1 year of life, height in the rump and on their compactness index. Parameters of bull calves after Holstein-Friesian fathers were significantly better than that of native bulls
