Erytrowet-Polfa administered orally to domestic animals in doses equivalent to 50 or 100 mg of erythromycin per kg b.w. reached its maximum blood level after 1 h in dogs, pigs and calves, and after 6 h in sheep and goats. After 24 h the residues of the antibiotic were still detectable. The best therapeutic effects were obtained in the treatment of staphylococcosis in fur animals, listeriosis in sheep and erysipelas in pigs
