The investigations were carried out on the cattle with muscular hypertrophy and in progeny of hypertrophic and normal animals to estimate the creatine metabolism. The hypertrophic cattle was characterized by a significantly higher creatinine concentration and lower creatine concentration in the blood serum. The highest creatine content in muscles: longissimus dorsi and semitendinosus was observed in the progeny of bulls with muscular hypertrophy
