The article analyses the costs of the forage produced of corn or grass according to some technological variant and the costs of feeding various productional groups of animals with forage. The analysis makes it evident that corn and grass should be considered as a complement in the production of forage. Feeding will be relatively cheap if appropriate quantitative relations between the ingredients are kept
