Productive value of crossbred rabbits of White New Zealand x White Termonde

An experiment was conducted on 208 litters. At 90 days of life the highest body weight was reached by White Termonde (BT) rabbits. The mean body weight of crossbred rabbits and that of pure White New Zealand (BN) breed were, respectively, 2267 and 2287 g. Feed conversion per 1 kg gain was 3.52; 3.73 and 3.65 kg for pure breeds BT and BN, and for crossbreeds, respectively. dressing yields of edible parts was 55% in all groups. Meat content in the carcass of the BN, BT and crossbred rabbits was 80.7; 81.7 and 79.4%
