Productive value of rabbits of White Termonde breed

An experiment was conducted on 150 does, 30 sires and 1325 young rabbits of White Termonde breed. The mean body weight of rabbits after fattening was 2587 g. Average daily gains were higher than 31 g. Feed conversion was 3.9 kg of the pelleted mixture. Dressing and carcass analyses of 307 rabbits showed the high value of meat. The content of edible parts was 55.5% and of meat in a carcass 80.5%
