Occurrence of histopathological lesions in cattle with enzootic leukosis diagnosed clinically

Samples of the heart, liver, kidneys, spleen, abomasum and lymph nodes, collected from cattle, positive in the gel immunodiffusion test for enzootic leukosis were examined histopathologically. Leukosis lesions were found in 80-82% of the animals examined. No relationship between the occurrence of pathological lesions and cattle breed was noted. Animals of 6-7 years of age were more affected with the lesions than younger ones
