Study on the influence of naphthalene acetic acid [NAA] on quality and yield of rice [varieties in Thailand]
Sunantha Chomphunit | Adun Suwannet | Narirat Kunason
The application of NAA solution in concentrations of 0, 1, 5, 10, 25, 50, 75 and 100 ppm to R.D.9 and KDML was studied. 105 rice varieties in rainy season, RD.7 and RD.9 were used in dry season using the same concentrations. The results did not show any significant response on yield and quality of RD.9 and RD.7 by the applications of NAA. The application of a high level, of NAA to RD.7 gave larger seed size and increased seed protein, but obtained more unfilled grains. KDML 105 rice variety showed no response to NAA application
