The following problems were discussed in thr papers from the 15th Consultation on fruit production advancement in Voivodina (SFRY) : present state and development plan of fruit growing till 1990, state and perspectives of apricot production in Voivodina, nut tree growing in Voivodina, possibility of quince growing and its advantages in relation to other kinds of fruit, possibility of strawberry growing, present state and perspective of blackberry growing, melioration by digging the orchards, the influence of calcium fruit nutrition on fruit quality, freezing some plant organs of important kinds of fruit in the region of the river Danube (SFRY) plantations and hazel tree growing.
