The effect of the application of micro-elements (Fe, Zn, Mn, Cu) and Wuxal on their concentration and distribution in the organs of pear was investigated. The investigation was performed during the vegetation period in 1983, under production conditions upon Kaludjerska pear, grafted on the MA stock. The treatment consisted of submerging part of uncovered root in the solution of the salts of the investigated trace elements. The following was concluded: Fe2+ and FeSO4 had a positive effect on the increase of the physiologically accessible Fe in the leaf. Mn2+ and Zn2+ from MnSO4 and ZnSO4 also showed a positive effect on the increase of their content in the leaf. Relative to the treatments with the solutions of single salts, Cu2+ from CuSO4 did not show statistically significant effect on the increase of its concentration in the leaf. The variants of the experiment in which a part of the root was submerged into the solution of Wuxal did not have any statistical significance on the concentration of the investigated elements in the leaf, so this treatment with Wuxal excludes the possibility of supplying the plants when there are certain defficiencies of trace elements contained in Wuxal.
