It was conducted the phytocenologic and floristic investigation of established lucerne field in the vicinity of Belgrade (SFRY) in the period of few years. The different herbicides were applied. It was found out that 37 species of weeds were in floristic context of agrophytocenose investigation. In some phytocenologic their number was from 14 to 20. The most frequently presented were 4 species of terrophytes. It prevailed the terrohytic character of communities with taking important part of geoghytes and hemicryptophytes. It were noticed some changes during the aging of lucerne field: the number of terrophytes was reduced, and a number of redeared and grassy species of weeds increased. The most represented weed was Glechoma glechoma hederacea species. The results of some herbicides application proved that there was drastically decreasing in number of weed species with important reduction of nimber of retained individuals of weed species. The reducing effect was the smallest at most numbered species of weed Glechoma hederacea. Taraxacum officinale, although with different number of individuals, retained presence at all experimental species. The presented species of terrophytes showed the high level of sensivity to applied herbicides, exept the type Erigeron canadensis which increased in number of its variations.
