The versatility as a stabilization factor of agricultural production and income [Yugoslavia]

Some lines of production in the field of soil cultivation express high variability in harvest yield and income. The coefficient of variation in the trend line of wheat is 15.62 %, of maize 13.0%, of sugar beet 10.24 %, of sunflower 9.71 % etc. For the equalisation of yields, i.e. income, every year is missing one half of a variation coefficient. Rate of contribution to the reserve funds for wheat has to be 7,81 % from income, for maize 6.50 %, for sugar beet 5.14 % and for sunflower 4.85 %. If 60 % of the area is sowed with maize instead of wheat, the coefficient of variation decreases from 15.62 % to 10.74 %, and rate of contribution to the reserve funds decreases from 7.81 % to 5.37 % of the income. By further expendance of sowing structure by including sugar beet, sunflower etc. the average income is increasing, the rate of contribution to the reserve funds is decreasing, and lower limit of income is increasing. There is a possibility to increase the income and its stability by combining not only the soil cultivation production, but also with cattle breeding combination.
