A trial was carried out to study the effect of form of diet (pelleted or mash) and the supplementation of a basic diet with trace elements and/or vitamins on the performance of intensively fattened lambs. Growth rate and feed intake of lambs were higher with the pelleted diet. Female lambs grew similarly on diets with or without trace elements and vitamins. However, growth rate of male lambs was higher and feed conversion rate was better with the diets containing added vitamins A, D2 and E
