In naturally infected or experimentally BLV inoculated animals, enlargement of prescapular and precrural lymph nodes along with development of small nodular lesions or chain of enlarged nodules near the neck region adjacent to prescapular lymph node was with over-all impression of immunological exhaustion. In a few animals other internal organs were also involved. The cortex and medullary portion of lymph nodes were depleted of lymphoid follicles and it was generally replaced by a sheet of lymphoid cells having large blast cells
