1987
Mane, P.B. | Shinde, P.A. (Mahatma Phule Agricultural Univ., Rahuri (India))
Results reveal that number of nodules per plant in all varieties in inoculated treatment was more than in uninoculated treatment. Inoculation with Rhizobium culture gave more number of nodules than uninoculated control in chickpea. Among the varieties/genotypes tested variety Vishwas was found to be significantly superior in respect of number of nodules and nodule dry weight in both inoculated as well as uninoculated treatments over rest of the varieties/genotypes
