The rates of abortion and prenatal mortality were significantly higher during monsoon followed by those in winter and summer. They were significantly higher during 3-4 and 2-3 months of pregnancy in Black Bengal and its halfbreds with Jamunapari, respectively, and among the goats of 2-3 years of age. The overall rates of abortion, stillbirth and prenatal mortality were 7.04, 8.72 and 15.14% respectively.
