Identification of a virus causing mosaic disease of broadbean in Iraq

A virus with host range, properties in sap and aphid transmission nearly similar to those of bean yellow mosaic virus was isolated from naturally infected broadbean plants. The virus infected several leguminous plants but did not infect cowpea, and induced local lesions on Chenopodium amaranticolor, C. guinoa and Gomphrena globosa
