1985
Mohammad, O.S. | Saleh, M.M. (Salahaddin Univ., Arbil (Iraq). Coll. of Agriculture)
Ten plots of 4.5 m of cucumber plants were covered with muslin to prevent honey-bee from visiting the flowers, whereas the same number of plots were left open to be visited by bees. The uncovered treatments increased yield by 15.35, 26.68%. However, the percentage of fruit number was increased by 18.9 and 14.2% for the two seasons respectively
