Response of soybean cultivars to planting dates (in Iraq)

The objectives of this experiment were to evaluate the effect of planting date on yield, yield components and other agronomic characteristics of three soybean cultivars. Results of this study showed that: 1-The cultivar Villiams can be planted between March 15 and April 1 for higher yield with low shrivelled seed. 2-The cultivar Lee could be planted between May 15 and June 1 for higher yield. 3-The cultivar Clark 63 is not recommended for planting at any date because of high percentage of shrivelled seed
