In Vitro adsorption of bull semen to Mycoplasma bovigenitalium (in Iraq)
1984
Abbu, N.K.
Several methods were used to study the nature of interaction between M. bovigenitalium strain AL and bull Spermatozoa. These protease enzyme like trypsin and pepsin had effect on the adherence. Trypsin abolished the attachment in all experiments but pepsin have partial role. On the other hand saponin abolished the attachment in several experiments. Thus the reactor site on spermatozoa were found to be lipo-protein. The adherence was found to be time and temperature dependent. Cation was not observed to have a role but good adherence was observed in PH 7.2
