Gives the results of experiments done to study the effects of temperature on nymphs of Icerya pattersoni (Newst) on coffee seedlings. Four varieties of Coffea arabica L namely: SL28, SL34, K7 and catimor were used as host plants. Results show that a high number of nymphs developed to maturity at 24 deg. C but none reached maturity at the temperature of 27 deg. C
