The present study was undertaken to examine the plasma testosterone concentration of male rats treated with prostaglandin F2 alpha. In addition, the effects of prostaglandin F2 alpha on plasma levels of luteinizing hormone (LH), and on the weights of seminal vesicles, ventral prostate and testes were examined in male rats. Rats were injected with 250 micro g and 1,000 micro g of PGF2 alpha single for 8 days treatment period
