This study was conducted to find out the effect of mixed bacterial inoculum to the methane fermentation on biogas production. Three kinds of feed material, rice straw + cow manure, rice straw + urea, and rice straw, were mixed with three kinds of bacterial seed, methane digested sludge (MDS), methane digested sludge (MDS) + mixed bacterial inoculum (MBI) and mixed bacterial inoculum (MBI) allowed to fermentation. Six strains of cellulolytic and five strains of methanogenic bacteria which showed the excellency of volatile fatty acid generation and biogas production selected from wet soil and methane digested sludge, which were also applied for MBI
