The study suggested that slaughtering of females, intact males and castrated males did not make any differences on the quantity of products obtained and that in general, there is no advantage in castrating animals with respect to the percent weights of the different visceral organs and the percent contribution of such major cut as loin, rib and shoulder in relation to carcass weight
