[Influence of drying period on blood protein and colostrum whey contents in cows]

Blood protein content declined significantly at the end of pregnancy. Cows with a prolonged drying period showed the lowest content of proteins at calving. The length of drying period had no effect on gammaglobulin concentration in colostrum
