Application of multiple regression equations for in vivo estimation of the content of meat, fat and bones in carcasses of Italian geese

The investigations were carried out on 172 Italian geese. The multiple regression equations for estimation of the meat, fat with the skin and bone contents in the goose carcasses had been derived. The body measurements were taken into consideration as independent variables. These equations were characterized by relatively small estimation errors
