Studies on the usefulness of local highland sheep for two-degree commercial crossing

The experimental material made 120 F1 ewes originating from the crossing of local Highland sheep with the Friesian rams. They were mated using rams of Polish Merino, Ile de France, Blackhead (cz) or Texel (T) breeds. The lambs from cz rams differed from other groups in longer thorax and greater output of pure fibre. The most advantageous results were obtained in the F1 x T group of lamb in carcasses value
