The anthemideae weeds had become a serious problem in growing rape and other cruciferous plants, especially in cabbages grown for seed. In a cabbage crop grown for seed it was found that the field camomile (Anthemis arvensis L.) formed 66 % of the total weed population. The herbicide Lontrel 300 destroyed the Anthemideae weeds. This compound should be applied at the rate of 0.4-0.5 1/ha, when cabbage plants have 5-6 true leaves
