Effect of some agricultural practices on the content of trace elements in di- and tetraploid Italian ryegrass

Tetraploid ryegrass contained more trace elements than the diploid cultivar. The content of trace elements in both diploid and tetraploid ryegrass was influenced by nitrogen fertilization and, to a lesser extent, by cutting frequency. Nutritionally, the contents of trace elements were acceptable in both tetraploid and diploid ryegrass regardless of nitrogen fertilization rate and cutting frequency
