Influence of herbicides on the content of protein and its fractions and the amino acid composition of grain of different winter wheat varieties [Igran, Tribunil, Gesaran, Dosamix, Chwastox, Aminopielik]

Most herbicides (Igran 50, Tribunil, Gesaran 2079, Dosamix, Chwastox D, Aminopielik D) applied led to an increase of the nitrogen content in the Jana and Alcedo varieties whereas in the Tadorna variety all herbicides excepting Dosamix, resulted in a decrease of the content of this element. The content of glutenic protein fraction and the sum of amino acids in grain decreased in the Jana and Tadorna varieties at the Aminopielik application whereas the level of remaining fractions did not undergo any significant changes under the influence of all the herbicides
