Electronarcosis decreased pulse and respiration rates and haemoglobin content. Thiopental anaesthesia caused an increase in pulse and respiration rates and a reduction in the number of erythrocytes. Both types of anaesthesia diminished serum concentrations of potassium, magnesium and phosphorus
