Studies on peanut production in Antigua and Barbuda

A summary of yield data and costs of production from a 2-year on-farm peanut study in Antigua where varieties Tennessee Red and NC2 were planted. The mean cost of production was EC$3,793.00, yield 825 kg/acre and profit ED$1,160.00. Variety NC2 was superior on calcareous soils. Recommendations are made for all aspects of production based on these experiences
