The IR-4 Program aids in the registration of animal drugs, biologic pest control agents and pesticides for minor or speciality uses. The southern regional office at the University of Florida, Gainesville, covers work in 13 southern states, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands and has handled many subtropical and tropical crops such as cassava, mango, guava, pigeon pea, tannia, pepper and yam. The status of pesticide labelling projects for these and other crops is tabulated
