The obtained results show that the organic fertilizer applied in sandy soil in Egypt increased significantly the total nitrogen content in the soil, the sunflower (Helianthus annuus) seed yield and oil content in sunflower seed. Addition of ammonium sulphate (20.5% N) increased a little the nitrogen content in the soil, increased significantly the seed yield, but did not increase the oil content in the seed.
