[Plant quarantine in the system of plant protection measures in Yugoslavia]

This thesis treats plant quarantine measures at the territory of Yugoslavia dating back to 1875. It gives a survey of beginnings, historical development and present situation of plant quarantine as a system of plant protection measures, a study of plant quarantines in other countries and, based on that, a suggestion for its improvement. A scheme of new organization of plant quarantine in Yugoslavia is suggested, its essence being introduction of contemporary scientific achievements in plant quarantine functioning. Models of post-quarantine buildings for testing health conditions of imported reproduction material, being greatly important for the practice, are worked out thoroughly.
