Effect of fertilization on yield and quality of red spice pepper

The investigation was concerned with the yield of both fresh and dried fruits of the industrial variety of HS-2 green pepper produced for the market in the conditions of fertilizing with different amounts of mineral fertilizers. The highest yields were obtained with the combination of 160 kg N/ha, 160 kg P/ha and 160 kg K/ha, as well as with 160 kg N/ha, 80 kg P/ha and 80 kg K/ha. The dry matter content during harvest was increased only by fertilizing with 80 kg N/ha, 80 kg P/ha and 160 kg K/ha. The highest content of coloured matter per fruit was obtained by fertilizing with 80 kg N/ha, 80 kg P/ha and 160 kg K/ha, as well as with 160 kg N/ha, 80 kg P/ha and 80 kg K/ha.
