Ilic, M. (Skupstina opstine Bijeljina, Bijeljina (Yugoslavia)) | Karisik, N.
In this paper is described the region of Semberia (SFRY), a plain of distinct microrelief ("hills and valleys"), with the gentle sloping down to the river Sava from 90 - 80 m above sea level. In natural vegetation prevailes the stand of oak trees (Quercus robur). The soil is hydromorphic: fluvisoil, semigley and humogley. In the south, higher parts of this region were formed the automorphic, humus accumulative and brownish soils. The agreement has been made that all land has to be classified into 7 commassational classes. The preparation of land has to be done by commassations, hydromeliorations, agglomerations, clearing the forests, growing perennial plants and planning. The land valuation has to be the base of the project.
