Damalas, D.G. (Ministry of Agriculture, Athens (Greece). Forest Research Inst.)
The current selling prices on road side and the corresponding harvesting and logging expenditures have been converted into constant terms of the year 1970. The current selling prices and the corresponding harvesting and logging expenditures have followed a considerable increasing process during the time period 1965-1979 which has been taken as a sample period. The selling prices and expenditures in constant terms followed an increasing process for the most of the categories of the wood products. The harvesting and logging expenditures of forest products followed a higher degree of percentage increase than the corresponding selling prices. The forecasting selling prices and the corresponding harvesting and logging expenditures appear to follow an increasing process (in constant terms) in the forthcoming years
