[First observation on use of sodic cephalexin in swine pathology]

The authors, who start from pharmacological considerations and bacteriologic data, report their first therapeutical results with a new cephalosporin: sodium cephalexin. Results make us consider sodium cephalexin very active in Haemophilus pleuropneumoniae, in exudative epidermitis caused by Staphilococcus hyicus and in septicemia with ear and tail necrosis caused by Streptococcus spp. and Cbt. pyogenes.
