This experiment was carried out for estimating genetic parameters, such as heritabilities, the phenotypic and genotypic correlations of major agronomic characters with 82 cultivars in sesame. Heritabilities of stem length with capsule, number of branches and 1,000 seed weight were higher than other characters, but that of yield per plant, number of nodes with capsule and number of capsule per plant were relatively lower. The genotypic correlation coefficients between stem length and number of nodes with capsule, and between number of nodes with capsule and number of capsule per plant showed highly positive correlation, and length of stem, number of nodes with capsule and number of capsule per plant were significantly correlated with yield, those characters gave high direct effect as same level in path-coeff0794icient anal
