The influence of interaction of season with sequence of calving on milk yield

An investigation was carried out into the effect of interaction of seasons and sequence of calving upon the following characteristics of cow milking ability: duration of lactation, milk production, quantity of the 4% milk, content and quantity of milk fat. It has been found that the investigated interaction produces no significant effect upon the duration of lactation while it significantly affects milk production, quantity of the 4% milk, quantity of milk fat in the 2nd lactation as well as the content of milk fat in all 3 lactations.
